Privacy policy

This notice explains how FrontDoor uses personal information submitted through this marketing website. It does not describe the separate arrangements for an assistant configured for a client’s business.

Last updated: 1 November 2026

What we collect

The inquiry form asks for your name, email, business name, website or business page URL and the questions you would like help handling. You can also select a plan you are interested in. We also record the submission time and an inquiry reference. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information, private customer records or confidential documents.

How we use it

We use your details to review your inquiry, respond to you and discuss a potential service. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not sell inquiry information or use it for advertising.

Storage and review

The website runs on ChatGPT Sites. Inquiries are saved in a private Cloudflare D1 database associated with FrontDoor and can be reviewed through owner-authorised Sites tools. The website has no public inquiry directory or API for reading submissions.

Inquiries are reviewed manually. The form does not send automated notification emails. If we reply by email, we use the address you supplied. Submitted website URLs are stored with your inquiry and are not automatically fetched by the form.

AI support chat

The “Ask FrontDoor” support assistant generates answers about FrontDoor using the service information we provide. Your question and recent conversation history are sent through our server to OpenAI to generate a reply. AI responses may contain mistakes. Do not send sensitive personal information, passwords, private customer records or confidential documents.

FrontDoor does not save support chat transcripts in its database or browser storage. Your chat stays in the current page’s memory until you reload, leave the page or select “New chat”. Closing the panel keeps the conversation available while you stay on the page. We request that OpenAI does not store the response as an API conversation; OpenAI may retain request data under its own service and abuse-monitoring policies. See OpenAI’s API data policies.

Sending a chat message does not submit an inquiry or notify our team. To ask for a response from a person, use the inquiry form.

The example conversation

The Oak & Lane Auto Care example is a separate scripted demonstration using fictional business information. It does not generate AI responses, collect free-text messages or send inquiries. Selecting example questions and opening their details does not save a conversation.

Spam prevention and technical information

We validate inquiry submissions and chat requests and limit repeated requests. The server uses a short-lived hash derived from the connection address and a 15-minute time window for rate limiting. The inquiry database does not store your raw IP address. Expired rate-limit records are removed when later valid submissions are processed.

The hosting platform may process technical request information to operate and secure the site.

Booking a call

When you select “Book a call”, we load a Calendly booking page inside a dialog. Calendly receives the technical information needed to load that page and any details you enter to arrange a call. We do not send your inquiry form or chat details to Calendly. Calendly manages the booking and any cookies used within its page. You can also open the booking page directly using the link in the dialog.

Cookies and analytics

We have not added visitor analytics or advertising tracking scripts. The public site does not require an account. Any technical cookies used by the hosting platform are managed by that platform.

Retention and your requests

Inquiries are retained for manual review and follow-up. There is currently no automatic deletion schedule. You can ask for a copy, correction or deletion of the information you submitted using the website inquiry form. Include your original email address and inquiry reference if available. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
